- bought 2nd oneI use this on my lap, couch, bed etc. and find it quite comfortable. The computer does not over heat at all. I like it and bought a 2nd one.

- Everyone with a laptop should own thisIf you use a laptop at home, you should get one of these, period. It's great for sitting on the couch or in bed, and even at a counter depending on the height. I love mine, and have recommended them to people who have loved them, and given them as gifts.
I use mine with a MacBook, and while it is a little slippery for these, but it still works just fine. If you have a more traditional, non-slippery laptop, it would be even better I suppose.

- HelpfulI bought this product and got it within a week or so. Very happy with my purchase. It's not high tech, it could probably float. But it certainly keeps my Macbook from raising the tempature in my crotch by 110 degree's. And I'm happy about that. It leaves space for excellent ventilation, so that you may sit on a bed and happily type your heart it. Also, elevates so that you don't have to stare downwards, which I didn't realize I was doing until I got this.

- More like a notebook slide than standThere is no traction on this notebook "stand" so my Macbook laptop slides right off the smooth angled top and onto my lap. Completely non-functional as a lap desk or stand of any kind, unless you want your computer crashing to the floor when you're not looking!
Unlike other reviewers, I like the look and color options for this, but none of that matters if the darn thing doesn't do what it's supposed to.

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.
