Customer Rating: - Terrible tasting water
I wanted to buy a countertop filter for the convenience of not dragging gallons of water up to my apartment. And I bought this particular filter b/c of the price and reviews that the water tastes great. They were wrong. I am sensitive to taste and the ppl that said it tastes great probably put the water in the frig where most water would taste good. I like to drink room temperature water and if you're like me do not buy this product, a brita would be better (and I hate brita filters).

I purchased this to replace a Brita, and my family is very glad. The water from this filter is very good, and works very well on SF tap water. I think the taste from this filter is much better than with Brita, and for the price, you can't go wrong. We're all drinking a lot more water since purchasing this item, and that's a good thing.

Customer Rating: - Could be a 5 but...
I have owned several of these and have had mixed luck with them. Works great when it works but there are a couple of issues. The water inlet is plastic, located at the base and easily broken. The water diversion valve is cheap, did not contain proper adapters in my case and leaks easily. For the money I suppose it's okay but it would be a much better product with just a couple of small changes.
