Customer Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Broken Hearted
I was very excited to find this Quik Cart. But heart broken when it arrived all broken up in the box.

Customer Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Great on firm ground...
As someone else mentioned, the wheels on this unit aren't great. They aren't big enough to roll over anything other than firm ground. Sand, woodchips, mud... they all turn the wheeled cart in to a sled.

The unit also does not collapse down completely. Maybe there's a trick to it that I haven't figured out, but I can't get the sides to snap so that it's a flat unit again.

I also found that the lid was difficult to get off quickly. The 2nd time I used it at an event, I had to open it to show security that there was no alcohol. I ended up snapping off one of the plastic "ears" that hold the cover in place. On the plus side, it's now easier to get in to the unit.

On the plus side, it easily holds a case of wine with no problem and makes a very respectable seat for a short rest or having lunch at a festival. I've even used it as a small picnic table when.

Customer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Quik Cart Xtra
I found the Quikcrate Xtra to be ideal for packing around the cables and accessories that I use in my recording business.
The lid makes an excellent platform for the recorder and preamps when it isn't convienent or possible to obtain a table.

I wish they made a larger version capable of holding equipment that was 20 inches wide.

Customer Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - good points /bad points
I have back problems where it is difficuult for me to be on my feet for long periods of time without sitting down. Often there isnt a good place to sit and if making a purchase it is extra hard to keep possesions all together. The advertisements show a guy sitting on this and even a car being driven over one in it's collapsed state.
So the good points are 1) it was pretty easy to open and 2)it held my weight fine sitting on it. The bad points are A)any soft ground such as sand, loose leaves, gravel and I am pretty much dragging it, not rolling it and B)it doesn't compact back easily. Once opened the little latches don't all go back and fasten together again so carrying in the closed state is a bit on the flappy side. C) the retractable handle doesn't work smoothly, maybe some WD-40 or graphite powder would help.

It is still pretty handy and I am planning on taking it to a music festival and will see if the second outing sends it over the edge to the garbage dump. I am thinking a non collapsing version would be just as handy as this collapsing one and be sturdier.

Gifts equipment

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

While compact and convenient, Panasonic's SD-based SDR-S150 camcorder doesn't make the quality cut.
