You've seen them in restaurants and theaters--those tubes full of lights proprietors use to mark stair edges and other potential hazards that might be fallen down or tripped over in dim light. That's not to say that Good Earth Lighting's rope lighting products can only be used in public venues--you could use them as funky accent lighting in a living room, party lighting, or to outline a path in your backyard.

The key to using these lights to full effect is mounting them securely, and everything you need in order to do this is included in the hardware kit, which contains mounting clips, cable ties, and screws. The lights themselves are extremely long-lasting--they're rated at 35,000 hours, and the heavy-duty PVC rope is an unobtrusive 3/8-inch in diameter. For longer runs, you can easily connect one set to another (up to 330 feet maximum).

The G9506CLR-I is six feet long, and operates at 120 volts. If you need more length per set, see the 12-, 24-, and 48-foot models (#G9512CLR-I, #G9524CLR-I, #G9548CLR-I). Note that these lights will heat up when in use--they should not be left on unattended. UL listed.--Josh Dettweiler

The lights work as expected and included clips to hold them to the wall. Very nice product, great price.

This product did not provide the amount of light I expected.
This could be my fault, as it is not placed so that the light is contained, rather on top of a wall (8' high). I am assuming it is my fault not the fault of the product.

Very easy to link multiple strings. I put mine on a dimmer and that gives me even more flexibility. They certainly do give off a lot of light.

Customer Rating: - Really Like this Rope Light!
I used this rope light under my counter because I simply could not afford the more expensive under counter lights or the professionals to install them. This works just great and I love the look and the convenience of being able to see what I'm doing really well. The light is not the glaring "white" light that some rope lights are, more a mellow softer light so if you want the really white one this is not for you. If you like the softer light, you'll love this one.
