Customer Rating: - the toilet seat that's hard to beat
After searching high and low for replacement seat covers for my new home, I came across this seat on Amazon. The price seemed more than reasonable for a real wooden seat and it also came in the elongated version. Other plastic seats were far more expensive but looked cheap and also did not appear to be destined for longevity. When it arrived, I was so amazed at the ease in installation and the quality construction. I would also recommend this cover to large dog owners as it foils the canine attempt to drink from the ever-filling porcelain drinking bowl.

I've had this toilet seat since July 2008 and actually, I don't know how I lived without it all these years! The price may seem high compared to the bargain seats you can buy in a store but like they say, you get what you pay for. The slow closing feature is the best and is so easy to use. Just a slight push and the seat slowly closes. No more being jolted awake from someone slamming the toilet seat down! I am so used to this seat that I've slammed toilet seats by mistake at my friends houses!
Great product, worth every penny, and highly recommended!

This toilet seat is simple to install. The soft close feature is perfect for my two year old that is potty trained. No smashed fingers in this toilet seat! Even cleaning is easier with it's smooth wood surface.

I think the idea of a slow closing toilet seat is one of the best concepts to date. It certainly encourages keeping the seat closed with minimal effort (just start to push it closed). My wife is also a happier camper. The effort of a total cleaning is also made easier.
